Any one of us, the best we can hope for is to leave this world a little better than when we came into it. Clyde surely did his part, RIP and my condolences to the Perfect family.

Clyde: When I think of Clyde I automatically see him walking around PNS Ski Area with a hammer hanging from his overalls. I grew up at and on the ski area, back in the day the rope toes drug me up to the top of small sided hill. My first employment was at PNS as a Ski Instructor. My first ski race trophie came from PNS. My dad Doug Lueke often enjoyed sitting on the deck eating the ski area chili and exchanging laughs with Clyde and his family. Clyde always stopped to greet us with his warm laughs, awful jokes and words of encouragement...matter what his busy schedule endured that day. When you think of PNS you think of Clyde and all the people his ski area impacted and brought together through small rope toes to large ski lifts and tubing runs. I will be forever THANKFUL for PNS, Clyde, his family and the ski community! Clyde Perfect may be called home, but will never be forgotten!! Cheers to you Clyde!!

I really truly an honestly enjoyed coming to Perfect North Slopes. Knowing I really never learned how to ski an still had fun doing it. I ended up in the parking lot a few times when I couldn't stop. The staff at Perfect North Slopes were absolutely amazing and very kind people. Can't wait until Perfect North Slopes opens again so I can enjoy going tubing. RIP Clyde you're definitely going to be missed. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

My sympathy to the family. I remember Clyde coming into the kitchen and banging the metal tables with his tools! Wonderful memories of wonderful friends!

Clyde befriended me in many ways. He was always kind and considerate to me. He always had a joke for me. Often it involved pastors! But we had a good relationship and he would listen to all that I had to say. My wife and kids don't even do that! Ha!

Seems like yesterday when I spoke with Clyde and his wife who were contractors for the Gulf Oil Refinery in Hooven, Ohio. Who would have thought that a simple vision would turn into a great winter sports venue. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Started sking there The second season. Taught my wife to ski there and all though the 80's into early 90's spent a lot of time enjoying the area. Clyde was there it seemed most of the time when I was there. If I remember right, he always had a hammer on his belt. What a great person.

Clyde was a hardworking and wonderful man. He laid the brick on my parents' house and ours. Later my two kids and I worked for him at the slopes. He would come in and slam his hammer on the metal table to scare us. He also set me up with free skiing lessons but I wasn't coordinated enough to do it. Clyde helped the Miller York Volunteer Fire Department with their chicken dinners. Clyde will be greatly missed.
